Four Minnesota colleges and universities made the seventh annual list of the nation’s most gay-friendly campuses. The advocacy group Campus Pride creates the list.
MinnPost reports that Carleton College in Northfield, Macalester College in St. Paul, the University of Minnesota-Duluth and the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities were included. According to the Huffington Post, the list is based on data that reviews eight LGBT-friendly factors, including support, safety, student life and counseling and health.
