The “Take Back the Majority” fundraiser is set for Saturday, June 4, 2011, at the home of Ted and Marysia Fiskevold, two miles east of Detroit Lakes. The event will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
Special guest sponsors at the event from the Minnesota Senate include:
MN Senate Minority Leader Tom Baak (SD 06)
MN State Senator Keith Langseth (SD 09)
MN State Senator LaRoy Stumpf (SD 01)
MN State Senator Tom Saxhaug (SD 03)

Other elected officials have been invited, including:

Congressman Collin Peterson (MN Congressional District 7)
MN State Representative Kent Eken (02A)
MN State Representative Paul Marquart (09B)
There will be plenty of picnic food and beverages available, a variety of home-baked desserts, and even an ice cream bar. You’ll have plenty of time to meet your elected officials, try your chance at winning fabulous door prizes ($1 per ticket), and tour Ted’s basement museum (which we hear is chocked full of his musical, and political collections and other memorabilia).
The suggested donation for the event is $25 per person, which includes all of the above activities.
