Voter ID forum planned for October 17th

MOORHEAD – The AARP, the League of Women Voters and Moorhead Votes will hold a public forum to discuss Minnesota’s voter ID amendment from 2 to 4 p.m. Oct. 17 at the Hjemkomst Center.

Some consider the amendment to discriminate against those over the age of 65 because many do not possess a driver’s license or photo ID. Several speakers are slated to discuss this issue
