How to Donate to the Silent Auction

Our annual fundraiser and silent auction is fast approaching on Tuesday, August 15, 2023. We hope you attend this important event and we need your donations to make the Silent Auction successful. Donating to our Silent Auction is a great way to contribute to a worthy cause. Questions about what to contribute or details? Contact Lyn Dockter-Pinnick at

DONATIONS NEEDED! Please dig into your closets and garages. Waiting there are grand items that are going unappreciated! Please consider donating those items to our Silent Auction! Art, pottery, an interesting picture or DFL Memorabilia would be valuable additions to our Silent Auction. A t-shirt or hat autographed by one of our local or state legislators or some other Minnesota celebrity would also be a great addition!

Baked goods, garden produce, flowers, plants or gift baskets with such items are popular items that make excellent contributions to our Silent Auction. Those items can be brought to MB Johnson Park by 5:00 pm, on Tuesday, August 15.

Everything donated to our silent auction is considered a donation to the Clay County DFL but is not eligible to be considered a tax donation, since we are a political organization.

Our goal is to know what everyone is willing to donate and / or have all items at the DFL Office by Saturday, August 5. Coming your way soon will be an email with a submission form. Remember, if you are donating something like baked bread, pies or other food items, let us know what you are donating, but bring that kind of item directly to MB Johnson Park on the day of the event, by 5:00 pm.

Non-perishable items can be dropped off at the Clay County garage at 1424 1st Avenue North, next to Junkyard Brewing Company on the days and times listed below. If you have a large item, please let us know as we would prefer that not be brought to the garage for reasons of space. In addition, we are planning to auction a few larger items in advance of the actual event on August 15.

DROP OFF DAYS: Saturday, July 22 – 10 am – 2 pm

Wednesday, July 26 – 5:30 – 7:30 pm

Saturday, August 5 – 3 pm – 6 pm

We thank you in advance for your support of the Clay County DFL and everything you do every day, to support our country and our democracy.

In appreciation,
